Backgrounds - Wallpapers for the Menu

When I am ready to burn the Blu-ray in DVD Architect I can see that there are different backgrounds (art and images) for the menu. When I select one of the backgrounds the Blu-ray will not burn. But, when I go back to the automatically generated blue menu background (having no images and no art) - the blu-ray burns with no problem. Why is this?

I no of no reason this would happen. I've never seen anything like it.

Are you able to create a Prepared File (ISO) rather than burn your BluRay directly to a disc?

I didn't make an .iso file. Should I? Should I do this? How do I do this?

I took two DVDs that I made with my SONY digital camcorder and made/ burnt those two DVDs into a blu-ray disk.

Please advise.

All the best.

Under Make BluRay, select the Prepared File rather than the Burn option to create a BluRay image file on your hard drive.

BTW, why create a BluRay disc of your DVD files? Since your original footage was just standard definition footage, you're not going to get a hi-res BluRay. You're just going to get a big, blurrier video on a more expensive disc.

Also, I would very much recommend you do not go directly from camcorder to DVD Architect. You'll get much better -- and much more stable results -- if you put the camcorder video into Vegas or Movie Studio and output from it an optimized file for your DVD or BluRay disc DVD Architect project.
