Backing Up

Question: I'm in the mix phase of a long form 70 min project. Is simply backing up the .veg file sufficient for daily backups if I'm only doing mix moves (not recording new files or adding files that aren't already part of the project)? I'm referring to daily - "in progress" back ups. To be safe, once the project is completed, I would back up all the files again.

Thanks!

Vegas project files (*.veg) are very small, so back-up often as many as you want. In the course of a day, I'll have one for every segment or scene, should I wish to return to an earlier point.
I also initially back-up all the audio files on a disc or separate drive. I've occasionally done something stupid in haste or lack of sleep, and needed an original file.

Many thanks rraud! Yes, I'm now into doing redundant backups habitually. After reading many reports of drive failures, I've become quite cautious.
