What are some good ways to backup a vegas project with the veg file and the clips? Printing to tape is good for backing up a rendered project, but what is a good way to keep things all together for possible future changes?
I do exactly what Bow said, Save and " Copy Media ", and I always choose " Copy Source Media " just in case I may need it in the future. Once thats all nice and neet in a little folder I go through and delete all garbage off of my hard drive(s).
One question, is there a way that it will save the long audio clips with " Copy Media " in their orgiginal state as opposed to W64 ? I do not have " Render large wave files as Wave 64 " checked in my prefrences, yet when I save in this manner it converts them anyway.
