backwards

i used a video envelope to run a 4 second clip backwards. A girl got out of a chair and i used it to put her back in the chair. i rendered this portion by it self and added to the film. It looked great on the computor but i sent it back to camera and it no longer looks smooth. Kind of blurred or something. Any ideas? Thanks

There is a bug in Vegas that apparantly was not fixed in Vegas 5, namely when you reverse a clip, the fields get reversed and the video looks blurry or jumpy. This was discussed here:

Velocity envelope bug

The "solution" (it is not really a solution, but it helps) is to apply a supersampling envelope at level 1 or level 2 strength.

Sony Please put this on your list of things to fix.
