Bad batch of DVDs

In the past I have used Verbatium DVDs , in fact I bought a 100 pack and never had a problem. Well I used these up and bought another 100 pack (same brand) and the first two failed in the middle of the burn. Has anyone experienced this problem. Did I get a bad batch of DVDs? It is not a problem with the files or DVD Architecture because I have burned sucessfully with a different brand. Is it possible that the first few are bad or is the whole batch bad. Thanks in Advance

Billy

I've never had a full bad spindle, but i have had a very small number of cases in which the first few or last few in a spindle were useless. I can only guess that these few were the start or end of a batch and probably should have failed QC and been thrown out. If you're not planning on returning the DVDs then i would suggest trying a few more and see if you hit good ones after a few more duds.
