Hello

I have the same problem, no solution, is a unresolved bug (I wrote a lot of emails to SonicFoundry support about this trouble and no solution).

Bye

Thanks- good to know I'm not in this by myself.

A lot of this is due to the fact that capturing video is a VERY processor intensive task. There may just not be enough processor power left to deliver a good audio preview. I have an 866MHz P3 and when i capture the audio preview is very choppy and delayed by about half a second. About the only thing i use the audio preview for is during cueing to make sure that the sound is there and to help find the right spot on the tape. Then i turn off the audio preview while i'm capturing and just listen through the little monitor speaker on the camcorder.

it happens on my 98se as well, win2k seemed to be ok.

Yes I have the same static audio capture problems. But on my 350MHz PII I have to turn off audio *and* video preview to avoid dropped frames. So I've got other things to worry about :-)
