Unfortunately, you can't. Not without decreasing the resolution of your monitor's setting -- and then you'll have less room to work with the interface. It's a lot of interface to fit onto a little laptop screen!

Any chance you can add a second monitor to your laptop to spread things out a bit or to use for your video editing?

I ran VMS and now Pro on a 14 inch laptop. I was able to read all the fonts until about a year ago.

Turns out it was a "hardware" problem. A $1 pair of readers from the Dollar Store fixed the problem for me. Oddly enough, all the other small fonts in my life are much easier to read too : )

It may depend on the version of Windows you're using, but on Win 7 you can go to Control Panel>Display and change the text size.

Thanks everyone!
$1400 laptop and the fix turns out to be a $3 pair of readers! :)
At least I can stop trying to figure it out.

@Display,

But seriously, if you are under 35 and you suddenly need readers, go see your optometrist. A proper eye exam can help with early detection on a whole bunch of stuff.

If you are 40 to 50+, yeah totally go with the Dollar Store solution.

Regards,

Kimberly
