Basic User Interface Question

I have Sony Vegas Movie Studio Plantinum 8.0 and want to customize the user interface. IIs there a way to make one of the tabs such as the Video Media Generator (Video Event FX Tab) it's own window that I can resize independently? I've looked through the help screens and do not see this as an option.

Yes .. but .. it will cover other parts of the screen.

Just grab the 6 vertical dots on the left side of the window and move it away from it's "docked" area.

To return it .. just move it (the window) back to the docked area.

Also, once you're moving it around, if you hold the Ctrl key, it won't re-dock itself and you can float it anywhere on the screen.
