Batch Adding of Audio Files

Hi. Guys,

I'm using Vegas Pro 17 for an Audio Project. I have VegaSaur as well. I'd like to find a creative way to add AT LEAST 60 audio tracks to a new project and have them "open" or import onto there own individual lines. It would be a plus if they could open with a say 3 second gap between the first and second line / track, so forth and so on. Currently, Vegas does not open my audio with a left and right channel. All I see is one audio line. This is OK, as far as I know, for now, for my current purpose of the file(s). I've searched this support site as well as the help files within Vegas. I can not seem to find such a support topic.

Once the above has been completed, (automated or manually), I'd like to apply an "FX Package" to all audio tracks in the project. It's worth noting that I created this FX Package on a single track and saved it as a "Preset". It will take forever to apply the manually created FX Package to each of my 60 + tracks, (if they must be done one by one). I'm hoping these tracks won't have to be in 60+ individual project files.

Thanks in advance for any info that might help.

Warm Regards,

Steve

Thanks for the helpful video. At first, the right click and drag was not working. I realized explorer was my active window rather than the project window. I was able to duplicate everything you did perfectly

Regarding the "Placement" in Vegasaur, can I get that 3 second gap in a file structure that looks like these two screen shots I've attached? I've included a zoomed view showing the 3 second gap and a view not so zoomed in to depict the desired file structure. The way you have described causes tracks to play over each other, which causes me to mute all other tracks to hear the selected one.

Thank you in advance for your time. I look forward to your response.

Is there a reason why the audio events cannot be on the same track?

@ rraud - Several. Mainly, It makes for a messy workflow when they all run together. I'd rather have my projects under one project file that is organized. This way, if a customer calls me up for a particular audio clip, I can FIND IT fast and I can render it out with several different format options. There is no need to drill down a horizontal timeline of say 100 audio clips to find the one I need. I can also use F11 to get a view of the entire project, at a glace, complete with each individual file name. Work flow, work flow, work flow. VERY important.

The video below shows how to do what you want. I also thought that was what you wanted, but I wasn't sure.
