Batch Digitize from imported GV or Sony EDL?

Can Vegas batch digitize from HDV using an EDL generated by Media 100 in any of the following formats?

Media 100 EDL formats:

CMX 3400
CMX3600
Grass Valley
Sony BVE 2000
Sony BVE 5000
Sony BVE 9000
Sony BVE 9100

I'd like to open the "foreign" EDL to Vegas then tell Vegas to begin batch digitizing the EDL's shots by feeding HDV tapes into a Sony HDV player as requested by the Vegas HDV import utility.

Ideally, the EDL would tell Vegas to tell me to "Insert HDV Reel C12345" and then digitize only the necessary shots via timecode references. Then it would ask for the next reel, etc. until I had all the shots on the hard drive.

Would certainly save a great deal of time.

1- I don't know if Vegas can re-capture from HDV. I just don't know??

2- From what I remember, Vegas won't import those kinds of EDLs.

It can...
Export a Vegas-format EDL. IMO this is not a real EDL. I believe this is the kind of EDL it can import?
Export a CMX EDL via scripting (this is a real EDL). But no script to import an EDL.

3- I don't suppose Media 100 will export an AAF?

I'm pretty certain that you cannot batch capture from HDV in any application, it's a limitation of the long GOP.

Don't know about HDV, but Veggie toolkit can take an m100 powerlog, or whatever the thing is called. That was the thing I was working off of when giving suggestions to Randall. He did a really good job too!
