Batch render as Cineform

Once you have all your shots needed on the timeline, and before you start working with them, I seemed to remember that you can batch render the timeline to the Cineform codec, I just can't find where. In any event, would this give you the same "product" were you to capture the shots from your playback deck with Neo HD and via HDLink, render them to the Cineform codec that way? Sorry if this seems too basic of a question but am trying to learn about how one goes about implementing Cineform, steep learning curve.
Many thanks in advance,

The usual practice is to convert your clips to the cineform codec before cutting. HDLink lets you select the clips (all or fewer) and convert. I can't think of an advantage in doing it later and I would expect a disadvantage if you had done any corrections on the timeline.

VASST GearShift will do this for you. It can create CineForm intermediaries from each of the trimmed clips on the timeline. There is a 15-day free trial so you can test it with your current project and see if it fits your workflow.
