Batch Render doesn't include markers?!

I used to use BatchRender Pro, which exported markers in the media file when I rendered an mpg file from within Vegas. But BatchRender Pro isn't (as far as I can tell) available for Vegas6.
So I tried using Vegas' built-in Batch Renderer script -- but it has no option for including markers in the output. (You do have that option when you use "Render As", to render one single file -- but not if you use the Batch script to render both an mpg and an ac3.)

So when I open the resulting mpg file in DVD Architect, I have to go in and re-create all my chapter marks by hand.

An awful kludge. Is there a way to get the markers to be included when Vegas does batch renders??

a PS: I've also tried the script that creates an sfl file after-the-fact from project markers -- it does create an sfl file, but the result doesn't show up when I insert my media file into DVD-A. My Vegas project had 27 markers, and the only marker that shows up in DVD-A is "1.Chapter".

I did make sure that the sfl file the script created was named correctly -- i.e., for the media file myproject.mpg, the sfl file is myproject.mpg.sfl
---but no chapters show up in DVD-A.

Have you tried running it in 6? (I haven't). It may be as simple as copying the files over to the Vegas 6 Script Menu folder. Vegas 6 did a great job of maintaining compatibility with Vegas 5 scripts.

Strange... since I got 6 and DVDA I've been using the batch script: mpeg-2 DVDA video & ac-3 stereo. My markers always appear as chapters.

How are you adding the media to DVDA (i do't know if that makes a difference)

edit:

I just tried it again and it worked fine for me. Are you using the default batch render script that came with V6?

Hmmmm... interesting, Friar.
Yes, I'm using the "built-in" Batch script in Vegas 6. Rendering to Mpeg-2 with DVDA stream, and ac-3 stereo. Then in DVD-A I tried both ways of adding the resulting media to the DVD -- double-clicking the mpeg in DVD-A's "Explorer" window to add it to the DVD project, and also by selecting "media" from the "Insert" menu. Same results both ways--none of my 27 markers came through.

I used to use, as I mentioned, BatchRender Pro. But I just recently got a new computer, and when I tried to install BatchRender Pro on it, BRPro complained that it couldn't find Vegas5 on the computer, and refused to install. Perhaps if a system already has Vegas5 and BRPro on it and then gets upgraded to Vegas6, BRPro would continue to work in 6. I don't know.
