batch render multi processor?

Trying out batch Render in V7 to improve my workflow. I noticed it is only using one of my four amd processors. Doing AVi to main concept mpeg2 render regions. If I do not use script for batch render it kicks on all four amds. Is this normal or am I missing something?

In Vegas 8.0a, all 4 of my Intel cores are used when I convert regions of a DV avi clip to mpeg2 files using the Batch Render script. I also tested a quad core AMD box and again all four cores were used.

Are you reading from or writing to a network or external hard drive?

What codec is used for the source avi file?

Do you have any video or audio effects or transitions? If so, which ones?
