I'm sure there are scripts for this. However, what i usually do is open up Vegas as many times as there are renders that i want to do, then start a render running with low priority in each one of them.

just use network rendering on your editing machine. It will que up all of the jobs and run them sequentially.

The value of multiple instances of Vegas is that if you are using single threaded FX you can use more of your cores.
