It seems like vegas 8.0c is sensitive to various things.
For instance, I have found that if you include " - - - " minus signs / hyphens in files names and teplate names it's more prone to crash.
Sometimes a vag file can be corrupted and always give crashes from the point where it crashed until you create a new project.
Like things get corrupted.
Has anybody made a list of conditions where Vegsa 8 crashes. It may be a compbination as well of a codec and a certain reolution / frame size that can cause crahes.
I've tried 8.0c in both XP32 and Vista 64 and it seems the crashes follow 8.0c and not the operating system and install.
Vegas 8.0c works incredibly well, and then sometimes, from a time line with many clips it wont render at all. Until I changed the name of the rendering template.. etc.
I've only touched on the rendering problems here and Idon't have any answers but things that screw up then work again when they are called something else etc and that confuses me....
Again, this looks like the Quality Department of Sony needs to look a little closer on how combinations of things work... It is very stable and then sometimes you can barely touch Vegas.
