For some reason the Batch Render Script won't render out to MPG2 (DVDA Template, render Regions). Every time I set it up and hit save- it gives me the error "Directory Doesn't Exist"! I switch the output to, say, MPG1 or WMV and it's fine. Any idea?!
I've narrowed it down- it seems to only do this if I choose DVDA MPG VIDEO STREAM as my output. As soon as I click the button to initiate the batch render of my regions....the dreaded "Directory doesn't exist" pops up?!
You made me learn something just so I could help you.
I created a folder called "untitled" on my e: drive
then selected the batch render dvda ntsc video stream and used the "browse" button to browse to my "untitled" folder and no problem
Just to clarify, this was the first time I tried a batch render and I also got the directory does not exist popup but it also said to use the browse to point to the folder.
The "browse" button is on the top right after the filename. I left the file as "untitled" which is why I created a folder called "untitled".
So in the browse action it came out as e:\untitled\untitled.
Sony's. And yes I did use the browse function. I've actually been using the batch render for quite a while now- but last night was the first time I tried to batch DVDA MPG2. Oddly enough it doesn't seem to have any problems with other formats.
I tried it again this morning and rendered to mpeg2/dvda widescreen and once I browsed to the folder it ran.
The only way I could break it was to save to the same name at which point it said file already exists and closed.
I also just typed in e:\test in the base filename box and it worked OK.
