I have 90 TGA frames on the TL. I would like to change the alpha properties as a group and not one at a time. Can this be done as a group somehow? Thanks, John.
Right-click on one of the TGA files on the timeline and select Properties. Go to the Media tab and set the Alpha channel. Finally, press the diskette icon to the right of the Stream selection and that will save those properties for that stream type. All of the TGA’s should not have their alpha channel recognized.
'All of the TGA’s should not have their alpha channel recognized.'
What do you mean by this? None of them do now. 'Saving' as a media stream should have the TGA alpha recognized, or are you referring to something else? Thanks, John.

I think you can select all of the frames in the media pool and change the alpha property.
Did you bring them in as individual images or as an image sequence?
Thanks, Dave.
In the media pool you can change the property one at a time. There may be some global setting I haven't found. Images added to the TL as a sequence, grouped with the 'Shift' key.
"All of the TGA’s should not have their alpha channel recognized."
'now'
I think there is a typo in the response from Johnny above.
You can't set media properties of multiples events in the timeline at once.
What you can do is setting alpha property for one event and save the setting with the little save icon in the box. Then, reimport your other medias in the timeline and Vegas should now recognise alpha properties for same media type based on the saving you have done. BTW, this feature did not always work in experience...
Hope this help...

If you had imported the images as a Sequence, you would only have one media file to deal with.
But the select all doesn't work? I thought it did. Sorry.
