Batch trim??

Not sure if this is unique to my Sony HC3 but every single clip has about 0.5 seconds of silence at the end. In other words when you hit the stop button, the audio stops recording 0.5 seconds ahead of the video so every clip has 0.5 seconds of silence at the end which has to be trimmed. Trimming 200 or 300 clips takes a bit of time

Is there a method or a script I can use to trim this off all clips with a neat little press of the button?

You'll need to make a slight modification as this one trims one second off both the front and end. A slight modification would allow it to trim just the end.

Thanks... I'll give that a try!

I've done exactly that (trim off just the back end) with Excalibur.

Yes, Laurence, Excalibur can easily do it as well. Just thought I'd point to a free option first.
