It might. Then again it might not if the power supply components can't handle more than the usual 1% JIT baloney. Maybe if you go to 7.25 you will burn the thing up with the way they make things today. I hate batteries. The important thing is the type, shape, size, and position of the battery connector contacts and of course the voltage rating with and without loading.

When Li-Ion batteries come off charge their voltage is way higher than that, Wouldn't be a problem at all.

The ones you really need to watch out for are the BIG V-Lock and AB Li-Ion batteries. Their placarded voltage is 14.4V yet they come off the chargers at over 16V. That's fine for the cameras designed to handle that, it might not be OK for 12V gear.

Thanks guys. I don't understand anything you are talking about but I do understand "Wouldn't be a problem at all."

BH was selling them for the A1u's but they do make mistakes, I just wasn't sure.
