Bauhaus Mirage a ”part” of Vegas 7?

Five observations:

1. Sony promotes Mirage on their web site.
2. Spot has just started to learn Bauhaus Mirage.
3. Spot is planning to publish some (basic) tutorials in the near future.
4. Spot asks Steve B, who seems to know a lot of Mirage, to contact him.
5. Spot knows more about the future of Vegas than we do.

Possible conclusions:

1. Sony will acquire Bauhaus Mirage?
2. Mirage will be an integrated part of Vegas 7?
2. Mirage will be integrated into Vegas in one way or another and / or offered by Sony as After Effects is offered by Adobe?
4. There is no connection?

Whoa big fella!!
I just like what I'm seeing. I've written tutorials for Photoshop, Premiere, Ulead, Canopus, Sony Broadcast, Canon, JVC, and many, many other companies. None of them are being acquired by, or acquiring Sony.
Just like Corel isn't buying Sony or Sony buying Corel, they're just partnerships, I'd suspect. Bauhaus just split the product off; why would they have done that if Sony was acquiring them?

I asked Steve to contact me because he understands Mirage and any help I can get in getting up to speed is appreciated.
Conspiracies everywhere! :-)

My intention was not to indicate any conspiracy. I’m just curios what might be the big hit in the upcoming version of Vegas!

It was a warm winter in Dallas that year.

Either that, or he had too much grass.

:O)

The conspiracies will only get worse from here - it's now the year of V7, and the sharks are starting to get into the water :)

Easy there, troops - sheesh, can't a guy say a friendly hello without arousing an alien abduction debate? ;)

Seriously, I'm as well acquainted with current directions with respect to Mirage as almost anyone on the planet, and I can assure you there are no suprises of this sort imminent.

Now, having said that, the standard disclaimer: Surprises are called surprises for a reason, and even I can be suprised ... but I would be surprised if I was surprised. See how that works? :D
