I have a BCF2000 and it works well as advertised. As has been noted the faders are not touch sensitive which mostly is not a problem but a work around would be handy.
Is there a way to in effect shut off the motors temporarily by command or stop sending midi traffic to the BCF2000? For example say that holding the "ctrl" key on the keyboard would stop sending midi updates to the BCF2000 which would then allow fade envelopes to be adjusted in "latch" mode without a fight.
Probably not a good key example but that's the general idea. A foot switch plugged into the back of the BCF2000 would be another way,
