1. No. You will need to reauthor the DVD.
2. ? Don't understand the question.

ad2. the issue is not very important. But, for instance, I am planning a series of educational videos of which not all are ready yet. Instead of storing those that have been finshed on the computer drive, can I write them on the DVD with the menu which will be completed later on?
My guess is: no. Thanks.

No, you can't add titles to an existing DVD with DVD Architect, but you can design the completed menu in advance and add video files as they become available. This allows you to fine-tune the appearance of your project as you wait for all of the new files to be available. You're essentially creating partial 'test DVDs' during this process.

The entire project is prepared and burned as a single entity. Adding titles requires having the original files available on an attached storage device, and modifying the menu, if necessary. Then you have to go through the preparation and burn phases once more. If you have Smart Prepare enabled, the second preparation phase will be shorter than the previous.

Thanks a lot. This is exactly what I need.
