In prior versions of Vegas (7.0 as I last recall).... I was able to right-click on a wave file in the timeline.... edit it in the audio editor....
and when I exited the audio editor, the wave file was changed in the timeline.
Now it seems it just saves the audio as a new wave file that I have to import into Vegas. In addition, if the wave segment is a subclip... the wave editor gets and saves the whole file which makes syncing everything up a PITA.
Anybody have any ideas if this can still be done?... Thanks, Dave
