best 8 input interface?

I am currently using a 4 channel MAudio breakout box with Vegas and would like some suggestions on moving up to an 8-channel interface. Any thoughts???

Aardvark Q10 does the same as the Layla 24 'cept it has two more inputs, hybrid XLR/balanced 1/4" inputs, and phantom power. I don't have one (yet), so I can't say it's better. But I really, really want one - If anyone has any horror stories, let me know!

M-Audio Delta 1010 and Echo 24 plus expanders here. Both are great.
