Hi,
I am considering upgrading to a Matrox Parhelia APVe AGP 256MB graphics card, from my current ATI AIW Pro128 (yes, my ATI card is an "Old Timer", and it has moved to each new PC as I upgraded). While my ATI card has worked fine for many years, it is time for me to go to a dual head setup and take advantage of the additional real estate.
I am currently using VMS Platinum V6.0a, and my video editing is at the hobbiest level doing home videos. My PC is a 2.8GHZ with 2GB memory, and 3 IDE 200GB drives. Everything is working fine, except that I'd lke to see more windows active at one time without having to find them under each other.
Has anyone here had experince with the Matrox Parhelia card and VMS, and do you feel it has worked well for you using a dual head setup? I am currently using a single Viewsonic 19" LCD, and would like to start using dual 19" LCD's.
Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
Should I be considering other video cards for dual monitor setup that are more compatible with VMS?
Thanks,
Dave
