Hi,
I'm a relative amature using VHS. I currently have InterVideo WinDVD creator on my computer as well as VHS. I can't seem to get the Sony capture app to work without locking up the computer after a few minutes. Therefore I use the capture capabilities of WinDVD creator.
The Vegas capture tool captures in MPEG2 and the WinDVD captures in AVI format. Is one format better than the other? Since the WinDVD capture tool works reliably, is there any disadvatage in using its native AVI files?
Brian
