Best file format for 1920x1080 screen share

Trying to set up a new project. The video is mostly going to be of a mouse moving around and manipulating a web application. The application is mostly solid colors.

What is the best format to use for this?

The only ones that do 1920x1080 are AVCHD, Blu-ray Disc and 3d Internet Video

I would like to share this video on YouTube if possible, but the application that I'm demoing uses a screen area of 1280x1080. If I try to use a smaller resolution, I imagine the text will get blurry.

Also, should I use "progressive" or "interlaced"?

Title says 1920x1080. Text says 1280x1080.

The application itself can be shrunk to only being 1280 wide.

The actual monitor is 1920x1080, which is a standard size.

So you can use 1920x1080 or 1280x720 on Youtube.
Nonstandard resolutions are problematic because they will be reduced to the closest standard screen dimension.
