Best File To Render As For USB Stick?

Hi, I have a Samsung DVD player that allows me to connect a USB flash drive to watch videos from on my TV. It can play AVI files and MPEG-4/DivX files. Please could someone tell me which file type is best to render a video to using Sony Vegas Movie Studio?

I've tried using one of the AVI settings under "Video For Windows" but the file came out as 195GB in size!

Thanks for any help

There are thousands of possible codecs for AVI files and MP4s can be in a wide variety of resolutions and quality levels -- so it's hard to say, based on those specs.

But you can try just rendering as a Sony AVC or Fraunhoefer MP4 file. Since this is a DVD player, I assume it can only play standard def and not hi-def video.
