Best Format to Master Stereoscopic 3D Projects

What is the best format to master 3d projects to? we are shooting 1920 by 1080 3D, but is .mxf a good one to work with? raw avi? This is for broadcast so we want to make sure we are archiving in the right format. Thanks in advance

maybe you could try this below

custom: 1920*1080 i50
stereoscopic side by side ( Full )
Dolby AC3 5.1 surround

for export: use- burn - burn to Blu-ray disc
and choose a template as below:

1920*1080 i50
SONY MVC/MP4
Windows Wave. 64

Just as there are multiple capture formats, there are multiple broadcast formats.

Will you be showing a 30-sec commercial; a half-hour reality show; an hour long documentary; a two-hour long special, etc, etc, etc: in HD 1280x720p; 1920x1080i; side-by-side; over/under; anamorphic 1440x1080i; etc, etc, etc.

Are you looking to archive for the future or do you have someone who will broadcast your content now. If the latter, discuss this question with them to determine what they want.

As in computers and wives, "best" is a relative term!
