Best format to save to when later Flash FLV ?

Are there others that are editing files with Movie Studio, saving the files and encoding the files with another application to Flash FLV files? What would be the best format and settings to save to from Movie Studio given that I'll immediately encode to .FLV?

Input files will either be .FLV that I'll have to convert so Movie Studio can read or ASF, DVD VOB or MOV files.

I am currently using Super(C) to encode .FLV, but I may either use my old Flix Pro 4 or upgrade to the Flix Pro 8.

Comments? Suggestions? Ideas?

I find that a 30p DV codec avi works really well for SD projects. For HDV, Flix Pro can work from a Cineform 1080i if you use it's deinterlace option. You need to render a deinterlaced version to work with the standard version of Flix 8 though.

Surely there must be a word or two in the suggestion that I can understand.

I see that I can save to an .avi file, but how do I know if Movie Studio is using a 30p DV (whatever that is)?

Thanks.
