Best mpeg DVD compliant setting in Main Concept?

I wanted to know what are the best settings as far as bitrate in the Main Concept template. The minimum is real low & what is the best for average? I'm only looking at putting 1 hour 20 minutes max on a dvd so picture quality is important. Any suggestions from a MC tech?Thanks

Questions:

What exactly is the source material you are using?

Is the DVD template producing unacceptable results?

If so, please list your DVD burner, burning software, and player model...and specifically describe what negatives you are seeing...

Overall the quality is good with slight artifacts in slow moving scenes. Burning software-Reel DVD with the Pioneer drive A03. Captured with Hollywood DV Bridge. Still quality is much better with vegas 3 & MC than premiere with the ligos plug in. I was just wondering about the presets on bitrate.

Most of my DVD's are done with MPEG 2, NTSC DV.
