Best option for rendering for UK TVs

1st source are 10M (3888x2592) photos (jpg) for a slide show.

2nd source are 1920x1088 videos (3pg) taken with my HTC phone.

I will be making a DVD for some and am Ok with settings but for myself and a few others I want to show on a 42" Plasma.

Most likely it will be shown from my laptop through HDMI.

I have set the project properties to HD 1080-24p (1920x1080, 23.976 fps) as all the 25fps seem to interlaced.

As this is my first foray into HD I am totally unsure of what to render as from the wide range of options. At present I am looking at Sony AVC/MVC (*.mp4,*.m2ts.,*.avc) set to Internet 1920x1080-25p.

Could someone comment on my selection and, perhaps, offer a better alternative.

Regards.

If you're going digital (HDMI) from your computer then match the project properties and render settings to the source frame rate of 23.976 to avoid resampling problems.

You can edit the templates to change them to progressive (none).
