Best program to burn SVCDs? Nero, Adaptec,.....etc.?

I see allot of discussion of Nero for burning to SVCD, etc. Is Nero the best for this process? Are there any other options I should explore? Can you put in the cue markers that a DVD player will recognize, etc.? It took me a while to figure out that VV did not burn SVCDs, so I would like to get the best program for the job.

All suggestions are appreciated,

Thanks!

Ken,

Ulead's Movie Factory ($49) gets high marks, as long as you don't need to burn XVCD or XSVCD. Nero is also good, particularly for XVCD or XSVCD. It will warn you, but you can ignore the warning and burn XVCD or XSVCD anyway.

Yes, go for Ulead DVD MovieFactory - it can create chapter stops which Nero can't.

BTW, it CAN be used to create XVCD and XSVCD - see http://www.dvdoctor.net/cgi-bin/ubb/Forum6/HTML/001310.html for info - the crucial thing seems to be that the files must have 44.1kHz audio.

Thanks for the help. It seems that creating chapters would be important for ease of use. If Nero can't do that, I will lean towards the Movie Factory just for that reason.

Thanks,

Ken
