Believe it or not I think the way to start is to read the online help within ProType, then study the "collections" presets by loading them and making changes until some light bulbs go on .. and, of course, read this forum by searching on keywords --- and last, but not least, get started yourself on something complicated that you think you don't know how to do. I started by trying to duplicate one of the presets from scratch.
One thing about Sony I do not understand is that they barely gives us any info on how to use their products. It's as if they engineered them but no one actually knows how to use the features. I found this when trying to understand using PSD files in DVD Architect. No one at Sony could even give me a PSD file to study let alone almost zero documentation.
If Sony could learn one thing from Adobe it's "teach your user base how to use your product and they will stay with you" It just makes business sense.
