Best Quality Wedding DVD Format?

I just shot a wedding reception for a nephew and am in the process of editing the video natively (pulled the MTS files directly into VMS).

I shot in AVCHD 1080 30p (Panasonic AG-HMC40). I'm editing on VMS 9 (latest release).

The final video will be about 30 minutes long.

What render setting should I use for absolutely the best quality output to DVD Architect to burn a standard DVD (for distributing to family members)?

First, ensure your project properties are correct, and that you have disabled resampling in all the clips in the timeline (right click on events, properties).

Then, click on the RENDER AS menu item, select MainConcept MPEG2 format, and the MPEG2 widescreen NTSC template for video.

For audio select the AC3 format/template. These two separate created files will be put back together by DVDA.
