Best RAM for performance PC, and a Quad GPU

THG has an interesting comparison of RAM technologies at different prices in actual use.

Important for cheapskates, but let me not give away the conclusion... :O)

It obviously depends on many factors, but it is definitely a case of diminishing returns.


And, just when you thought dual-card SLI was cool, they came up with this nVidia Quad GPU setup (two dual-GPU cards connected via SLI)...

Only 377 watts when cranking 3D (which I expect includes video rendering primitives).

Plus the rest of the computer will need some power, too....
