Best VMS render for use in DVDAS?

What's the best rendering option to use in VMS if I want to use the results in DVDAS? It seems that 'MainConcept MPEG2' creates an mpg that DVDAS can use directly without having to recompress it (unless you set the 'Reduce Interlace Flicker' switch in DVDAS which causes DVDAS to have to recompress the file).

There doesn't appear to be 'de-interlace' switch in VMS that could be set for the initial rendering, unless I'm missing something.

Have I got this right? Use 'MainConcept MPEG2' in VMS if I'm going to DVDAS?

Thanks.

Also render a second time and output a WAV audio file. Select "make movie", then the "advanced render" button. Change the file type to WAV, then change from "default template" to 48,000 Hz, 16 bit, stereo, PCM.

If DVDAS does not select this audio file automatically, you can do so on your own.
