I assume the MTS files are AVCHD. If they have Movie Studio and not Movie Studio Platinum then they can't handle HD of any kind because only the Platinum version is capable of HD. In that case, render them as DV Widescreen AVI files.

Thanks JR. I won't know until tomorrow whether they have Movie Studio or Platinum. If it is Platinum, what HD format would you recommend?

By the way, I plan to use my Production Assistant for the batch render.

PS: Is it possible to apply a color correction to selected clips in the Production Assistant batch transcode?

PSS: Yes, the mts files are AVCHD.

If it is the Platinum version - why not use the AVCHD files natively in there?
