Best way to have links follow motion menu floating text

Assume that you don't want any static fields on the screen so as to avoid lcd burn (like the t shirt with menu items on it in a recent commercial dvd). How could one couple links to moving text areas on the background menu.
One way I see would use a fixed spot that covered the range of motion of text [one way would be to make an invisible button: select text only; remove any text so entry is null and the button is invisible. But this would not be nearly so good as if the area itself moved with the text. Better still would be if the moving text could be made to change color as the item was in focus (e.g. switching to another video image with red rather than black lettering on "mouse over"). The pros do some great stuff.] Is there any way to do such activities with DVDA?

A good way to avoid this would be for DVD Architect to have a menu time out where it goes to the currently highlighted button, like DVD Workshop does. I hope they put this in the next version. I can see someone leaving their T.V. on a menu while they go to out to party or eat or something.

I think end action user control is needed; I seriously hope SonicFoundry will consider that as a no cost revision as it would so greatly enhance the product. I have an lcd projection tv at home and those replace lcds aren't cheap $1000 each so its not a minor concern (esp. since there are 3 of 'em RGB); all the dvds I made prior to DVDA have a one or two minute timeout on the still menus so that they execute a button that plays the main video when the time elapses. Motion menus solve most of the problem as long as there is nothing static on top of them. I've read some of your comments on other threads, you seem to have a good handle developing creative workarounds with DVD A, I bet with some more thought you can solve this one. I seriously like this product; just a few little tweaks and its the answer to all my needs.
thanks,
