I'm a begginer so forgive me if this is a stupid question.
I recorded a play from different locations for each performance. I would like to edit the two performances into one, yet the audio levels are a little different. What is the best way to blend the two tracks so the difference is not so noticeable?
Synching this, video and audio-wise would be a monumental endeavor if not totally impossible even for the best of editors. Certainly beyond the scope of a forum. Think about it, I'm assuming you have video, the lighting, sound level, timbre and timing, etc. differences between the two performances have to be huge.
Even if you don't have video, I suggest you pick the best night/acts and go with it, otherwise you will have to split it up into events and take major pains applying EQ, compression, etc. independently to each event and manually synching it all back together.
