Best way to Print to Tape

I have a video - total time 45 minutes - but is divided into 6 different Vegas files for easier editing. I want to print to tape. Will I get the best results (will be shown in an auditirium on big screen) if I render each segment into an avi file then print that to tape or use the print to tape feature from the vegas file.

Thanks

I always render each section separately, start a new project, and add the sections to the new project, and then print to tape. The "render" will be very fast at this point (only any overlapping sections will need to be rendered and the audio will be converted to a .w64 file).

Is their a limit on how much video you can print to tape from time line. If already renderd into sections?

The length of your tape.

I've never gone over roughly 2 hour 4 minutes (maxes out a 2 hour VHS tape or an 83 minute MiniDV in LP mode). If you are using larger DV tapes or VHS in one of the slower modes, you should be able to go longer.

4.5 hours is my personal record, going to a tape in SLP mode. Obviously the quality wasn't great, but the situation called for it. Not a single hitch or noticeable dropout.
