Best way to upgrade

Hi all,

I have vegas pro 20.00 and was on the annual subscription as they diddn't offer perpetual subscriptions at the time (from memory). I coudn't afford to upkeep the payment at the time and let the subscription end. My status is currently "locked". I just tried to upgrade but it didn't accept my serial number, but it would be an upgrade. What do i have to do? what are my options?

Kind regards,

dmon

Perpetual licenses have always been available for Vegas Pro including version 20 - please see pages 9 to 11 of the Price Watch forum thread which lists all the new license, upgrade and subscription offers released during Vegas Pro 20's life span: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/vegas-pro-price-watch--109642/?page=9

Upgrade pricing is only available for upgrading from a perpetual license to another perpetual license, From the Vegas Support Help pages:

Can I continue to use my installed software after my subscription ends?

After a subscription ends, you will not be able to continue using the software. You can of course buy the latest version at any time in the form of a perpetual license. However, this means you will not be able to avail of more recently released features or other benefits offered by the subscription model.

If you have a Vegas Pro perpetual license for a version before you began the subscription arrangement, you may be able to use that previous perpetual license for upgrade pricing as long as that serial number hasn't already been used for an upgrade.
