Download the "shipping" version and install it. You can use that in demo mode until your serial number arrives. You won't be able to save any renders, but you should be able to edit.

Hey Jay,

How are things going with the keyboard overlays? I just got approval (from my wife) to order V4+DVD, so I think they keyboard overlays will be nice.

Also, will they look OK on a black keyboard?

I could call your girlfriend, but that would probably get us both in trouble. :)

Actually, I qualify for academic pricing, so that eases the pain a little, and we are getting a hefty tax refund. Go enroll in a class at the community college for $35. Then get the academic version. :)

Actually, I'm not to be pittied...it's just that I have other priorities lately. I LOVE working with this software, but with the new house comes alot of extra little expenses (blinds, area rugs, towel racks, etc). I am eligible for the $299 V4+DVD, but unless something happens, I'll be sticking with VV3.0. The down side of the V4 popularity is that most are opting to upgrade, which means I won't be able to help out much with postings related to V4 (maybe good news for some??). :(
Oh well, life goes on.

CW, isn't like that sort'a like "not inhaling"?

Craig, there weren't enough orders placed to get the stickers made. Besides, they would work on a black jeyboard because some of the text is printed in black.
