I have to deliver a video on Beta, Going to do this one on Vegas and want to know what kind of quality I'm going to end up with. DV in Dv out through sony signal converter to Beta recorder.Is this going to be worth my time, or back to the Avid ?

Absolutely worth doing! If you feel like investing a little further there are some DV-component converters, but we've been able to get very good picture and sound onto SPBeta from Vegas, using the Sony DVMCDA2 composite converter and recording onto our in-house UVW/PVW/BVWs.

Please let us know your own opinion on image and sound quality once you get it out to SP-
