Better than 1920x1200??

I have an Eizo S2410W 24 inch WideScreen monitor showing 1920x1200 which gives a good basis for Vegas editing.

The monitor is connected to an onBoard Intel 945GM graphic chip through one single DVI cable - 6 (six) meters long as the PC stands next door - but it works perfectly.

Question: Probably some of you have larger monitors with better resoloution:
- which monitors have you got
- which graphic cards do you use for them - and
- how do you connect them??

larger? should be a 30". like the dell 3007wfp-hc. i got the 2407wfp.

for anything above 1920x1200, you need a video card with "dual-link dvi". the dvi cable came together with monitor.

I use:
1) Eizo S2410 (DVI)
2) Dell 2407 (DVI)
3) Inexpensive 40" Sony Full-HD TV (DVI-->HDMI)

(1) and (2) show the TL, scopes, mixer, etc. and the TV is used for preview (secondary display).

I use the Dell 30" monitor. I use a Quadro FX Dual DVI card (you have to at that resolution, and next to my camera, it is the single most important piece of equipment I have. I use, of course, a Dual DVI cable to send the signal.

Nothing beats being able to have all of your windows expanded at once.
