Better Titles and Transitions

Can someone please tell me where I can get some better titles and transitions for VMS15? I downloaded this product yesterday in hope that it would replace Adobe Premiere Pro CC for my youtube vlogs and documentary video editing. However, I am finding that it lacks a lot in simple things. Like ability to easily preview clips, create in and out points, then adding them to a selected point in the timeline.

Also, trying to get some titles added seems like we are still in 1998, and the transitions are also from the same era.

P.s. I am aware of external products such as hitfilm and BorisFX.

I'd like something that's included with this product, or I can get for free or relatively cheap.

Perhaps having come from Premier Pro you are expecting too much from VMS which is a consumer level product. Have you tried Vegas Pro. You can download a 30 day trial.

Preview should show in the UI as you play, provided the footage has been imported into Vegas.

If you open your footage in the Trimmer, then use I and O to identify that part you want to add to the Timeline and then press A, that selection will appear after the cursor (option to place it before as well).

As Eric says. this is a consumer level programme: the Pro version offers far more.
