Can you provide us with a sample file? It can be short...just long enough to see and analyze.

However, please bear in mind that blockiness is a common limitation of the VCD format. VCD doesn't have nearly the resolution or bitrate of DVD, so the quality won't be anywhere near.

Our encoder is capable of creating excellent output within the limitations of the VCD format, however in scenes with lots of motion there is only so much bandwidth available and sometimes blockiness is inevitable.

We would like to see an example to determine whether your blockiness is the "normal" kind caused by the format, or if there's another issue at play. You can e-mail a sample file to:
