BillyBoy tutorial ?

Didn't know how to to find BillyBoy other than here.

In the tutorial on the moving a dot across the Dallas map.

Everything goes OK up to step 9.

I right click the prepared dallas.jpg and copy it.
I insert a Video track.
I click teh icon and change it to Overlay.
I paste the picture into that track on top of the initial one.

Step 9 says to move the black dot in PAN/CROP. But do you mean in FX?

At any rate that is where I lose it. I can't see the black dot in preview. Once I lay that track in on top it's all over.

What can I be doing wrong?

I keep forgetting to put my email address on my web site. I got to do that one of these days. <wink>

You don't click on anything to make it a overlay, I referring to the use of the track, meaning it is ABOVE ( or overlays) the other track. Not talking about the track header area where you can make composits.

Yes, I'm referring to the FX window. If you can't see the dot or mask, probably because it is too big, try changing its size in the FX window.
