Bins path : important question before upgradi

This week end I plan to (at last !) upgrade my PC (new motherboard, new drive, xp re-install....
----
Due to these major changings, I'll probably end up with my current drives letters and IDE hierarchy all mixed up in XWP. It would not be a great deal per se, BUT :
---
My currently UNfinished projects are based on clips which are located on my dedicated video data drive, and defined within projects as a few bins...
These projects contain in total something like 3500 individual clips (!).
It therefore would be a real nightmare to retrieve the paths to those clips/bins by hand !!
---
Now, my anxious -and maybe naive question- question :
--
IF I end up on my new system with drive letters all mixed up, when I open my projects, Vegas will probably tell me that it cannot find the defined bins/clips any more....
Is there an easy way to update the path to the bins/clips when it happens ?
---
The safest way would probably be to wait for my projects to be totally finished before I upgrade.... but it may take several weeks, and I'd really want to work on a stronger machine soon.
So, do you think I can go ahead without losing all those hours of work ?
Thanks in advance for your lights on this !

You can rearrange the drive letters to match what you used to have.

Thanks Chienworks,
but I'd feel more comfortable if I was told that Vegas is smart enough to easily update the path for the bins ! (without having to mess with the drives' letters)

I've done this before (but not quite to your extent!!) with projects taken from work to home and back. When I open a veg file and tell it that I want to specify the new drive/folder, it sees all related files in that folder, asks you if you want to use them as well and then does it very quickly. If you have numerous vegs and folders though, this could be somewhat time-consuming :-(
