Bit Rate help

I am running movie studio 8 and I whent to Render As and then for Fil Type I selected Window Media V9 then clicked Custom.

Then in here at the bottum on the screen I click Video Tab and I set my frame rate video size.

Then I click Audio Tab and make settings for Audio.

Then I click the Bit Rate Tab and I can't make settings in here the Blocks are grayed out.

How can I make my settings for Bit Rate everything here is grayed out???

Please help

You need to select a custom "mode" in the Video tab to get the bitrate tab to be enabled. In fact, you should not be changing the bitrate tab. All your bitrate work should be done on the Video tab, under the right mode.

Ok now it's working but one thing?

I am trying to make a new template with a frame size of 320 x 240 and I start off by picking Windows Media V9

The thing is when I give my new Template a name and save it and go back to the save screen ware I can pick my template from the list it is in there.

But it does not keep the frame size I put in it still says the old frame size why??
